While dresses and sweaters come and go with each passing season, jeans are a mainstay in one’s wardrobe. It’s the one pillar of stability that remains unmoved, come rain, hail, or sunshine. While I, like any other girl, have a plethora of jeans in my arsenal, indeed I choose to festoon my white boyfriend jeans time and again, because nothing says “Spring it on!” better than white denim. My goal, through this look, is to serve as a physical manifestation of Spring. Indeed, not only am I wearing an all white ensemble, I have gone one step further with white heels, and have chosen to pose amidst a field of grass. Basic? I think not. Risking my foot health by wearing death-like heels on an unstable platform? Perhaps, but what are we, if not a legion of daredevils looking to live life on the edge?
