For those of you who don’t know, I’m currently visiting my family in Bangladesh and brought with me, exactly 10 different outfit options. And to those wondering what all the fuss is about, I’ve also been here for about 6 weeks. That means 10 different outfit options to wear over 6 weeks. Now before you give me looks of disgust because the only natural conclusion to draw from this is that I don’t believe in laundry, let me elaborate. Fact of the matter is that I do have a wardrobe full of old, casual clothing which I thought would suffice. Unfortunately I was wrong, which proves that one should always, always take advantage of the 2 suitcase allowance. Airlines know.

Anyway, the point of this post is to share the outfit that has become my uniform during my time here. Day or night, brunch or party, this outfit has never failed me. As much as I have voiced my vehement dislike for the skinny jean this season, I can’t deny that they feel like a tight hug from a best friend. You know, the one who’s been through it all with you. Not only are they versatile, it also gives me a rush to put on a pair of pants that may at any point stop the bloodflow on my legs, I mean if this isn’t living on the edge…

So I’d like to publicly apologize to my skinny jeans, I’m sorry I under-appreciated you and traded you in for my new, cooler friends. You are forever my number 1.
