Let’s talk Coach, if you associate it with the first decade of the 21st century when Paris Hilton reigned and Juicy Couture sweatpants were all the rage, you’re not the only one. In fact, back in 2009 when I started my freshman year of college, I went and bought myself 2 Coach handbags in one go because I just couldn’t get enough. But after that, total flatline.

…Until recently. Coach rebranded. They called in the big guns in the form of Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, and puppies. They changed their design aesthetic to cater to a more refined client base who felt more strongly about minimalism than flashy logos. Did it work? I think so. When I was approached by Coach to partake in their campaign, I studied the website, only to find that I could envision myself wearing most of their products. In the end, I picked the Dakotah cross body, and guys, it’s truly a great bag. It’s sleek and ideally sized for someone who is forever carrying around an extra pair of flats or a camera lens.

If nothing else, their rebranding efforts did accomplish one thing – reeling back a customer they lost. So if you were also a Coach fanatic way back when Von Dutch was also cool (remember them?), I suggest you give them another chance, because if it’s good enough for Karlie Kloss, it’s good enough for you.
