Sole Serum

Throughout college, I was one of those girls who could be seen with heels in hand while walking home at night. And no, not because I was drunk, but because heels hurt like a bitch, and I have a very low threshold of pain. Now that I’m a grown up and actually care about the glares of judgement that are inevitably directed towards girls seen with heels in hand, I’ve given up these beautiful monsters for the most part unless I’m taking a cab.

When Sole Serum approached me to review their product, I was skeptical. A cream could solve my shoe woes? Really? So I decided to give it a try. I was nervous to try it with heels from the get-go with no safety net in case it went awry, so I bravely massaged the serum on my heels before putting on my new (wildly uncomfortable) Zara flats. To my utter surprise, IT WORKED. I actually managed to do a 2km walk without any trouble. And it also soothed my existing blisters.

Since then, I’ve tried it with heels, rubbing the serum on the balls of my feet, and have actually been able to wear my them for longer. So what is it? Contrary to popular believe, it’s not potion from Hogwarts, but rather a really great numbing cream. So if you’re looking for a magical way to wear your heels without having the men in your life piggy back you home (it’s happened), I highly recommend Sole Serum.
