One thing I think we can all agree on is that whoever came up with the no white after Labour Day rule was a moron. Now that we’ve cleared that up, let’s talk about this outfit. Picking up from where I left off from my last post, this outfit is once again, a testament of my love for the statement piece. The one piece that makes your outfit, no matter how simple everything else is kept. These shoes, although a tad loud for my usual taste, called out to me as soon as I saw them. I mean gold shoes, that’s as unique as it gets. However, with shoes as bold as these, everything needed to be kept very simple, which is why I chose an all white look to accompany it. Although I’m aware the look is more spring than fall, I still love it, because isn’t that the essence of fashion? Breaking rules? What’s your favourite statement piece?

Bold but really cool and interesting! I have a white top with kind of interesting cut in the shoulder and I love it as a statement piece. I actually would love to buy more statement pieces. The challenge is to find something interesting but not too crazy that you can mix match with your clothes easily.
