I think all bloggers can relate to that (infuriating) feeling of not being taken seriously. A lot of people tend to think that blogging isn’t a serious profession that requires a lot of work and dedication, which couldn’t be farther from the truth. Like any job, and I’m sure my fellow bloggers will agree, we face challenges. Whether it be in the form of time management, photoshop glitches, lighting, or most importantly weather. It may seem like such a menial problem, but putting on makeup and braving the cold to shoot pictures, when you’d rather be in your PJs, curled up with a good book takes some serious dedication. These set of pictures were taken over the weekend when it was 3 degrees, snowing, and winding hard enough to make me feel like I was going to blow away – but that’s just part and parcel of taking my job seriously. So for all those who think my job is as easy as dressing up and looking pretty, I dare you to go outside in the snow wearing a V-neck sweater to shoot pictures.
