When it comes to most people, they have a signature ‘something’ about their style. Whether it be a boho chic look, or their hair, or maybe just a piece of clothing, it’s quintessentially them. Although my style has evolved so much over the past few years, the one thing that’s remained constant is my signature red lip. Here’s the thing, I like to think of myself as a confident person. I’m comfortable in my own skin, and don’t feel like I need to pile my face with product to feel pretty (not that there’s anything wrong with that). However, that being said, the one thing that I do need to feel like myself is red lipstick. I don’t know what it is about it, but it just makes me feel a lot more in control. And it’s not just a recent development. I remember buying my first tube of red lipstick in 7th grade (yes, 7th grade), and having this feeling of poise wash over me when I applied it. Obviously at that age, my adventures with makeup only went as far as the bathroom, but ever since then, I’ve had an affinity for red lips. I’ve tried other colours, but it’s just not the same. I can have a bare face, but without my signature red lips, I’m nothing. Do you guys feel like that about a particular product? Let me know your thoughts!

You beauty! I am definitely the same with red lips, but at the moment I have been loving darker/burgundy lips so much. My outfit definitely feels incomplete with it! You look stunning as usual and I absolutely love your outfit

Love your look and post:) I totally agree with you about red lips. On most days, I don’t wear any eye makeup – I only apply red or burgundy lipstick, some foundation and powder. It’s just a few things, but the makeup looks complete and definitely boosts confidence:) Thank you so much for sharing!
