So guys, real talk: Black Friday. Or actually, sales in general. Look, I’m a girl who loves a good sale, but I will never understand why people feel the need to fight over things. Over the past few weeks, I’ve seen an ugly side of humanity that I don’t really know what to make of. The first occurrence was the Balmain x H&M pre-sale I went to. Yes pre-sale, where there was a curated number of people invited. I saw girls practically clawing for coats as if they contained the elixir of life, and when I saw videos of the actual sale, I swear I got anxiety. And truly, Black Friday is no different. This year, I didn’t dare go anywhere near the mall, instead choosing to do my shopping within the safety of my own home. Last year however, I went to Holt Renfrew, and after seeing people push each other to get the last Marc Jacobs handbag, I wiped my hands clean and told myself never again. How do you guys feel about sales? Do you think it’s worth the hassle?

LOVE this outfit! That sweater is such an awesome basic! I went out on Thursday night for the Black Friday sales and it wasn’t as bad where we were. I have been to a couple though where it has been absolute madness! Shopping online is the way to go!

Love your pants, I’ve been looking everywhere for a leather pants. I actually like that the back is not in leather. I’ve tried tons of leather and faux leather pants and leggings and it’s not flattering for my big fat ass ahahah
Totally agree with you on all black Friday craziness and sales craziness in general. It gives me a lot of anxiety to see so many people going nuts. It’s not worse my time and energy.

Lovely sweater, and no, I don’t ever think it’s worth the sales and deals. I only wanted to shop the Balmain/H&M collection online as I never want to go to a mall and be around crazy people doing terrible things for a shirt or TV.

It’s absolutely ridiculous. Unfortunately the Balmain x H&M collection wasn’t even available online for us in Canada, but I was so disappointed by the whole shopping experience that I ended up returning what I had managed to buy. xo

To be honest, I am not a big fan of black friday or cyber monday. While I think it is great to get a good deal, and it can be useful if you plan ahead for something you really need to purchase it at a discounted price, the sales I have been seeing online are not even that spectacular and it just psychologically tricks people into thinking that wants are needs.
