I’d like to dedicate this blog post to sneakers. Who knew that the same sneakers I wore throughout middle school while listening to Sum 41 on my CD player would be all the rage in 2015? I definitely did not. But to whoever is responsible for this trend, I’d like to send them a hearty thank you and virtual hug. I’d like to express my gratitude because I’ve been able to retire the heels I always loathed, and instead, outfit my feet in shoes that feel like cushions. Oh to be able to walk without the skin from the back of my heels peeling! The wonder of not having to fill my handbag with bandaids! The joy of not having to carry around an extra pair of flats! While I know how quickly trends come and go, this is one I will surely be holding wearing for years to come.

I just love this look, it’s exactly what I want to wear right now! Concerning the shoes situation, I also can’t wear heels. It’s way too much work and pain. That’s why I buy sneakers, loafers, brogue… Sometimes I buy a pair of heels but it has to be in leather and with extra space for when my feet get swollen (so glam ahah).

Amazing casual ensemble Siffat! I am really thankful too that the white sneakers are back on trend and I am sure they will stay for a long time! The fact that they can replace heels which such an ease and style to almost every outfit, makes me love them even more!

Haha I was definitely that kid listening to Sum 41 too. I love the look of heels but I definitely don’t like the way they feel after an hour or two. I’d opt for boots or flats 9 times out of 10 instead of heels.
