Colette

The weekend before I left Toronto, I met up with Joelle of La Petite Noob, Gabriella of Pastels and Pastries, and Tara of The TL Blog for a blogger brunch involving lattes, food, and girl talk. Since Colette is Toronto’s Instagram hub, it seemed like a natural fit for the occasion. We arrived on a particularly windy Saturday, and were seated at our pristine marble table, conveniently located right by the window. Between the chatter, we managed to order our meals.

The Eggs Benny with salmon and avocado on a homemade croissant. I personally love my eggs benny on a croissant, so I was ecstatic about this variation.

Quinoa pudding for Gabriella, who won the prize for healthy eating on the table.

Our delicious brunch was followed by a trip to Yang’s flower market where we all picked up a handful of roses. We headed merrily home with our stomachs and photo galleries full (which is truly the best end to any brunch).

I really enjoyed brunch at Colette, although if I were to go again, I would order pancakes to share on top of the eggs benny since it didn’t come with any sides. And for those of you who don’t know, Colette is one of the few places that actually takes reservations for brunch, so if you hate waiting in lines, this is the place for you!

This is totally my kind of brunch. Festive and beautiful. I also love eggs on a croissant and you add in avocado and I’m sold. Did you try the quinoa pudding by chance? I’m curious how that was…
