After my first day in Bangkok, I quickly learned that I would have to temporarily abandon any hope of finding a minimal backdrop to shoot outfits against. However, with gorgeous palaces and temples galore, I really had no reason to complain. These pictures were taken at The Grand Palace which consisted of numerous gilded and glittering monuments that made the Buckingham Palace look modest. Although I went at peak tourism hours, I was able to sneak in a shoot much to the chagrin of other visitors who were keen to use the wall too. Totally worth it.

Haha! That’s not a bad problem to have. I wish we had more historic and ornate places in the US to shoot. Too bad our history is only two to three hundred years old 🙂 I would be nervous to purchase a dress without more shape, but you totally pull it off, particularly by pairing it with those stan smiths. Love the contrast of the minimalist dress and the ornate backdrop.
