So I know I haven’t posted for a long time, but if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know it was for a good reason – I was knee deep in all things Toronto Fashion Week, which ended last night. Initially I thought I’d be able to post on my blog after the shows, but after just the first day, I knew that lack of sleep and hanger on account of not having time to eat between shows would not allow that to happen. So I decided to take the week off and post after all the madness was over.

As always, Toronto Fashion Week blew me away. I am constantly in awe of the talent we have locally, and am so inspired to shop Canadian after the week. I’ll be posting a recap soon, but for now, this is what I wore on Day 1. I wanted to keep consistent with my minimal aesthetic, so chose to go for a monochrome beige set which stole my heart upon laying eyes on it.

I adore this colour on your skintone, Siffat, it’s so subtle yet incredibly dramatic. I do think it has something to do with the monochrome effect, but whatever it is, you look divine. Your skin looks positively creamy.

And speaking of divine, I’d really love for you to come and join my link-up, this outfit is simply too awesome to not share xoxo
