I have a little confession to make. My shopping habits are exactly like those of people who go on diets. Every time I go on a shopping hiatus, when I come back, I tend to binge shop. I run amuck like a child with a $50 note in a candy shop, only to regret (some) of my purchases later, which is why I need a chaperone when I go shopping. These Aritzia pants were bought during said circumstances, and after the initial euphoria wore off, I had no idea what to style them with.

As luck would have it, a month later, I walked into Ever New where my search for the perfect white vest came to an end. Initially while going through my summer wardrobe, I couldn’t figure out the right outfit to style it with, until I remembered these cropped black pants from Aritzia. When I threw the two on together, I was ecstatic with the result – a black and white outfit that worked so harmoniously together, and I could wear it with sneakers!

So, while I don’t condone the mania I’m overcome with when I walk into a mall after a period of no shopping, what I’m trying to say is give your clothing a chance, you never know what you may come up with!

I love this monochrome look – the white vest is stunning, and I totally understand your shopping habits! I often do the same, and I have even been known to rummage through my ‘throwing out’ box for something I have previously bought but never worn!

I was always really frugal about spending money on clothes but lately I just can’t stop shopping….I absolutely adore this outfit. It’s so chic yet relaxed thanks to the trainers.

Ooooooh boy, do I know the struggle. I use shopping as a kind of therapy… “therapy for what?” my boyfriend asks. Therapy for life, man, life. 🙂
But it turned out well, the pants look good with the outfit.

Love this chic, monochromatic look! And girl, I relate so much. I am really good at being frugal and saving $, but as soon as I break this pattern, I go a bit overboard. It’s hard to stop!

I tend to give myself time before buying something, because this thing you said happens to me a lot so instead of regretting, I just wait and see if I actually want it 🙂 Love the way you styled those pants!

I love the vest, Siffat! It looks great paired with those cropped pants! I couldn’t agree more, sometimes we forget what we have in our closets! If , however, we take the time to go through them or think about them while shopping, it really helps to avoid making unnecessary purchases, as well as getting more use out of clothes and money! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!
