Dress: Banana Republic; Sandals: Banana Republic

As someone who suffered through the 6 gruelling months of hell, otherwise known as winter in Canada, I believe the coming of spring is certainly an occasion worthy of celebration. Luckily for my Canadian friends, Banana Republic feels the same way, because on the 2nd and 3rd of June, they will be celebrating the warmer temperatures at the 80 Bloor Street West, Eaton Centre, Sherway Gardens and Yorkdale locations with special treats and surprises. And really, what better way to spring into spring than with a new wardrobe composed of shorter hemlines and lightweight essentials?

My form of celebration, other than the far too frequent visits to ice-cream shops, includes taking this new LWD from Banana’s summer collection out for a spin (quite literally, as I couldn’t stop twirling). I loved its bohemian yet minimal aesthetic, making it the perfect addition to my spring wardrobe.

    That’s such a cute look on you! Love the sandals. I bought a similar pair from J.Crew a couple years ago, but returned them because it looked like the fringe was an animal attacking my feet haha. But the ones you are wearing are much more demure 🙂
