Top: SIWY Denim; Skirt: Zara (similar here and here); Watch: Cluse

I think it’s pretty safe to say that we’ve reached peak distressing when it goes beyond jeans and ends up on sweatshirts too. But no matter, I’m still a fan of this trend – and chokers, can you tell? – and fell in love with this SIWY Denim top as soon as I saw it. Of course, I had to go the whole nine yards and style my distressed top with a black choker AND a leather skirt, because I wanted to fully commit to looking like a mix between Sandy and Danny Zuko from Grease. I’d like to think of my edgy choice in garb as a way to compensate for the fact that I’m secretly a 60 year old at heart, and consider going to bed at midnight living on the edge. You gotta do what you gotta do, right?

Even though I adore distressed denim, I’m not a big fan personally of distressed tops. On you though, it looks absolutely great, especially with that killer leather skirt!

In love with the choker trend too. Challenge at the moment is to incorporate them into my everyday corporate wardrobe. Tough one but I managed to pull through several looks already. Still trying! x

I am a fan of your ring. Loving it especially since you put it in your pointer. Even if it is minimal, it still managed to get someone’s attention.
