As a 90’s child, nothing brings me more joy than our recent return to this era. I hardly need to say this because, let’s face it, you’d be hard-pressed to find a picture of me without a choker. As a minimalist, and a believer in sustainable fashion, I’ve curated a wardrobe comprised of basics that I can wear over and over again, in different ways. So how does one tackle trends that are ever so fleeting? Instead of choosing to buy pieces that are seasonal, I’ve chosen to translate my 90’s obsession into pieces I know I’ll wear after this trend is long gone. Case in point – an oversized denim jacket and slip dress are as 90’s as Clarissa Explains It All (remember that?), but I know I’ll be wearing both these pieces individually for years to come.

    90’s trend is definitely my favourite this season as well; I just can’t stop wearing my mom jeans and bandana scarf, lol. I really hope these things will stay on the runway for a while:)

    Yep, this is a full on throwback to the 90s and I LOVE it! As a child of the late 80s who didn’t get to fully appreciate the 90s when they were happening I’m so thrilled to see some of the early to mid-90s trends making a comeback!

    Great take on translating trends into sustainably wearable pieces. I feel like I might need to join you in getting my 90’s on…or maybe because I was a teenager in the 90s I remember some of the more cringe worthy things we wore from that time too clearly still and I’ll have to move on!
