Tubkaak

Tubkaak

Before heading to Phuket, I spent two days in Krabi, one of which I spent at Tubkaak Boutique Resort, a gorgeous beachfront property that boasted the perfect mix of lush greenery and a stunning view of the ocean. My brothers and I stayed at the Pool Villa which, as you can tell by the name, had a beautiful private pool and deck area. If you are looking for a retreat that allows you to immerse yourself into the natural beauty that Krabi offers in the most luxurious way possible, I could not recommend Tubkaak more. Also, if you are a fan of Thai food (and if you’re not, we can’t be friends), Arundina, which is one of the two restaurants within the property, will genuinely change your life. We ate there three times over the day and a half that we were there.

I had two items on my Krabi bucket list – to watch a beautiful sunset, and to snorkel in Hong Island. As soon as I arrived in Krabi, I was told by several people that Tubkaak boasts the best sunset view, and I don’t think you’ll believe me until you see it yourself. It is nothing short of magical. In terms of Hong Island, thanks to the staff at the hotel, I was able to take a private long tail boat over and spend a few hours taking pictures and gasping at the bluest waters I’d seen.
