It seems that fashion has been intensely focusing on the effortless-I-woke-up-like-this look. When athleisure came into fashion, I said a small prayer of thanks for my feet. Finally some relief in the form of sneakers! Gigi and Kendall however took athleisure to a whole new level when they started wearing sweatpants and hoodies. Then, last September, Selena Gomez was photographed in Paris wearing a satin PJ set with heels and shit hit the fan. While sleepwear has been spotted on runways, I think that was the moment it became a universally accepted, nay, favoured trend. So while I have experimented with the sleep-chic trend in the past, this satin robe was my first full commitment to the trend. I paired it with slides and everything, and I gotta say, I’m loving it.

How do you guys feel about the pyjama trend?

Did you see the PJ suit from Zara that Olivia Palermo wore recently? Loved it! I love comfy chic style so it’s definitely something I need to fit into my wardrobe somehow. Love how you made it your own. I wish I could get shoes like yours, but Zara doesn’t do anything below a size 6 and my feet are 4.5 to 5. Ugh.

Hon. Sit down. Can we talk? Talk about how FAAAABULOUS this look is. First of all, I love your hair, it always punctuates yr outfits so nicely and looks glossy and thick, tsiiiigh. As for the bedroom look being worn outdoors, I remember reading a teen and reading an article feat. the It Girl at the time and she was saying how she loved getting calls at night, waking her from sleep to go out and how she would roll out to ze club in her nightwear and I remember thinking at the time- I HAVE to do this when I grow up. I still ain’t never done it yet, but it’s one of my Life Goals. Wink! I’m all about your choker and those luxe looking slippers from Zara. Have a good Wed (:
