Dress: Free People
Hello from London! As you guys know, I’ve been in Europe for the last few days eating, walking, and laughing harder than ever. On my second day in Paris, I shot a few outfits with the very talented Alina Sepp. To those people who think blogging is all glamour, I’d like to take a moment to debunk this myth. We shot these images at 8am in the freezing cold, I switched outfits right there at Palais Royal to save time (I had a bodysuit on, I didn’t want to be arrested for nudity on my trip), and most importantly, I shot this lace dress with no coat to cover me. But the final result totally made it worth it, I mean how magical are these pictures?
So the reason I decided to shoot this particular look was because it’s what I’m wearing to the Nordstrom Gala! I searched for days for the perfect dress, and absolutely fell in love with the delicate lace detailing. It’s a little more feminine than my usual look, but I love that it’s still simple on account of its black and white colour palette. Canadian friends – if you don’t already know, Nordstrom is hosting a gala to celebrate its opening at Yorkdale from which all proceeds will go to various charities. Tickets are $150 and you can buy them here.
