Dress: Zara (similar here and here); Sweater: Zara (similar here and here); Shoes: Stuart Weitzman

Personally, I have become a believer in buying things that I will wear more than once, a philosophy I also apply to holiday dress shopping. After searching far and wide, I stumbled upon this satin slip dress from Zara which ticked all the boxes. And the best part? I discovered I can dress it down with the help of a chunky knit sweater. In fact, I love this dress so much that I also recently wore it to a black tie event, for which I styled it completely differently. But for now, here is my version of a casually styled holiday dress.

Do you guys have any go-to’s for holiday dressing?

I totally agree with you. I try to buy clothes for holidays and parties that i’d still be wearing on a casual mood.
That dress is an amazing and versatile piece, it was a great purchase you made.
    Have a good day, dear.

I would have loved to see how you styled it for your black tie event, its fab with the oversized jumper and for the grunge vibe will look good in those wooly hats, a white T and mash up boots! Hmmm, my go-to pieces during this time- I need to have some sparkle and shine for that razzle factor. My best pieces are actually in LDN for that- I have a black, gold, silver sequins cape bolero jacket that would look so goood tishg… ( : Ps and erm lots of fake fur pieces for the cozy but glam look!
