Coat: Soia & Kyo; Pants: Zara (similar here and here); Hat: Club Monaco (similar here and here)

If it looks like I’m midway through a lunge in the above picture, I probably was in order to preserve warmth. It’s freezing here in New York! This was my outfit for day 1, where a series of unfortunate events (flight delays, traffic, etc) lead to me missing two shows. Thankfully, I was able to make it to my last show of the day, Nicole Miller. I’ll be doing an extensive guide to NYFW over the next little while, but for now, I wanted to share this outfit.

As you may know by now, I love to support Canadian designers. So when I laid my eyes of this Soia & Kyo coat, I knew I had to wear it for fashion week. It’s warm, chic and so versatile!

I’ve been following your blog since 2014 and I am amazed to see how all the effort and hard work you have put into your blog has paid off! Especially the fact that you happen to also be from Bangladesh, you are truly living the dream ! I absolutely love your style of writing and your photography and I hope your page keeps growing ❤

Love that coat! It looks just as warm as it is stylish! It has been so cold in the area lately. I thought I was going to get blown away in NYC yesterday. The wind was pretty rough! Sorry you missed a couple shows but at least you were able to see Nicole Miller.

Aha, you’re back in the Big Apple, I follow a few New Yorkers on Insta, so yes you guys have had beastly weather in the last few days but m’am looks like you’ve settled right in. I loooove the glam effect of your jacket and faux fur trim collar, the hat really crowns of the look too. Looking forward to reading your NYFW posts. ( :

“If it looks like I’m midway through a lunge in the above picture, I probably was” LOL! Actually, my first thought was that you’ve nailed the whole blogger/street style look where they’re casually mid stride for the perfect photo. Anyways, I love this look – especially the shape it has. Really interesting and chic!
