Beach Waves Tutorial

Curling Iron: T3; Hairspray: L’Oreal; Hair Straightener: Old (favourites here and here)

There’s nothing I love more than getting complimented on my hair. Not because it’s an ego boost, but because I genuinely didn’t know how to curl it until last year. I would always be so awestruck by girls with perfect beach waves. What I hated was when they would try to explain how they did it, and I would try to replicate it at home, only to fail miserably. But you know the age old adage, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again”, and so I did. After years of experimentation, I figured out how to curl my hair, and I want to share with you guys.

The three biggest tips I have are:

1) Invest in a good curling iron – this speeds up the process significantly, and holds the curls. I’ve fallen in love with the T3 Micro Whirl Trio which has interchangeable barrels.

2) Day old hair is the best kind of hair.

3) A good hairspray will give you all the volume and hold you need without making your hair crunchy. I swear by the L’Oreal one I’m using in this video. They aren’t sponsoring me, I just genuinely love the product. Not to mention, the price point is super reasonable!

Everything I use is conveniently available on Amazon. I hope you guys find the video helpful! And as always, if you like the video, please don’t forget to give it aΒ like and subscribe πŸ™‚

I love the beach wave look! Considering my hair is pin straight all the time, I really appreciate when other people have texture in their hair!
