The Trend: Tiered Skirt

Skirt: Chelsea 28 (similar here and here); Boots: Alexander Wang

I never thought I’d be a fan of ruffles, but here I am practically singing its praise from the rooftops. Although ruffles are a repeat offender in my wardrobe when it comes to sleeve details and dresses, I didn’t think I’d fall for it in the form of a skirt… until I tried this one on.

Take it from me, a tiered skirt is the one item you never knew you needed. But once you try it on, you’ll never look back. I love how it moves when I twirl around! If you think this trend is too girly for you, you’re wrong. It’s about how you style it. I like to mix femininity with some edge, so I balanced out the feminine silhouette with black booties.

I’d love to hear your take on tiered skirts. Are you a fan?

Welllll, I’m a fan of tiered skirts on you- how bout that ( ; love how you edged it up with a tie up shirt and boots. Me, I have no business with a tiered skirt coz of my sihouette. I do have a black light weight coat that has a ruffled hem and collar- looks a bit gothic and I looove it! Have a good wkend hon. X

Such a gorgeous outfit dear! I love the ruffles on your skirt, and the way you style your top; so sexy! And those ankle boots really wrapped up the whole outfit.
