Last Chance: Skincare Favourites From The Sephora Sale

Well hello! It’s me again, your annoying mom who can’t stop explaining the importance of a good skincare routine!

So you guys know I’m all about high-low products for everything. By that I mean one of my favourite clay masks is an $8 one from L’Oreal, but I also use a $300 serum from Barbara Sturm. So of course, a lot of you message me about whether it’s worth it to invest in expensive products. To be honest, I don’t think I can invest in something that’s more precious than my own body. I would rather put my $$ into quality skincare products that’ll postpone signs of aging than designer handbags.

That being said, I know that everyone has different budgets. Which is why I’m SO excited about the Sephora sale that’s happening from now until the 19th. So you have 2 more days to stock up on your beauty favourites and save 15% while you’re at it. Just use the code BIBONUS at checkout.

I’d like to preface this by saying that this is in no way sponsored. I just wanted to share my beauty favourites (and products I’m buying) with you guys so it can guide you.

GLOW RECIPE WATERMELON SLEEPING MASK
You guys have heard me rave about this on Instagram stories. So here’s the deal: this mask is from a Korean Beauty brand, and they just get it. I love a sleeping mask because it’s easy. You slap it on your face when you’re done the last step of your skincare routine, and wash it off the next morning. This mask is amazing because it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), which helps shed dead surface skin cells, allowing your skin to look baby-soft and smooth in the morning.

OLE HENRIKSEN BANANA BRIGHT EYE CREAM
This Vitamin-C rich eye cream reduces the look of dark circles. It also boosts collagen and hydrates. Vitamin-C is a superstar ingredient, so I love skincare products that have it.

FRESH BROWN SUGAR BODY POLISH
Want skin as soft as a baby’s ass? This is how you get it. It’s without a doubt the best body scrub I’ve used – SO luxe.

YOUTH TO THE PEOPLE SUPERBERRY GLOW OIL
I’m a big fan of using oils on my skin. In my mind, there’s no such thing as too much hydration. I’ve not used this oil yet, but I’m buying it because the mix of berries it contains is super rich in anti-oxidants. It’s also rich in Vitamin-C which brightens the skin, and is said to be super hydrating.

KOPARI COCONUT ROSE TONER
The Kopari Rose Toner has been a mainstay in my beauty bag for months. I cannot go a day without using it. The three superstar ingredients: witch hazel, coconut, and rose pack a real punch. This mist soothes skin, reduces redness, and helps reduce the look of pores. I could bathe in this stuff.

ALGENIST GENIUS LIQUID COLLAGEN
When it comes to skincare, collagen is a keyword for me. So this guy from Algenist contains active beads of micro-algae oil, a kind of plant collagen. Collagen is like the fountain of youth. Your body naturally produces it and it’s the protein that keeps your skin looking plump and youthful. With age, our body’s natural ability to produce collagen reduces, so collagen products are excellent.

MOUNT LAI DEPUFFING JADE ROLLER
Two words: lymphatic drainage. Stick this jade roller into your fridge and give yourself a little facial massage at night or in the morning. It’ll depuff your face in no-time.

KATE SOMERVILLE EXFOLIKATE FACE WASH
Again, this is one of those products I can’t live without. It’s formulated with AHAs, so it exfoliates without drying anything out. It also draws out all impurities, and makes your skin glow.

IT COSMETICS SECRET SAUCE CREAM
Another favourite for me. It’s super thick and nourishing, making it the perfect night cream. It contains collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, and Vitamin C, which is the holy trinity of skincare.

FARMACY HONEYMOON GLOW NIGHT SERUM
This serum is formulated with a combination of AHA, BHA and Flower Acid, making sure you wake up with brand new skin in the morning. It gently exfoliates and helps shed dead skin, revealing a brighter complexion in the morning. It’s also a clean beauty brand that’s been making waves lately.

DR. DENNIS GROSS PEEL PADS
You guys know I’m obsessed with Dr. Dennis Gross’s products. I actually had to actively resist the urge to list 4 of his products on this list. The peel pads are a favourite though, because they exfoliate and reveal younger looking skin. So here’s a pro tip: when I’m breaking out, I make sure I use this product especially, and it clears up my skin super fast. The blend of acids makes sure impurities are purged and dead skin cells are removed, so your skin instantly looks more radiant. If you can buy ONE thing during this sale, let it be this.

YSL BEAUTY ALL HOURS CONCEALER
Okay, so this isn’t a skincare product, but I had to add it to this list because it’s my favourite concealer. We all need help sometimes with our skin, whether it be to cover up a pimple or hide a bit of unevenness. This concealer does the trick and is so lightweight that it feels like you’re not wearing anything

SUMMER FRIDAYS JET LAG MASK
I have to say this is one of the most hydrating masks I’ve ever used. It’s formulated with a combination of ingredients that really soothe and brighten the skin. Some noteworthy points: it contains Vitamin C, E, and Arginine. These ingredients work together as anti-oxidants and hydrating agents.
