4 Face Mists I’m Loving

This post has been in the making for MONTHS now. Long story short, I love face mists. They’re refreshing, hydrating, and a great pick-me-up for your skin in the middle of the day. I’m also specific about the type of face mist I like. It has to be light and if it has a smell, said smell has to be either rose or some kind of citrus. I’m telling you, I’m a face-mist connoisseur of sorts.

How To Use It

There are two ways to use face-mists. First, akin to a toner. Basically, after you wash your face you spray a toner before moving on to serums. Remember, when it comes to your skincare routine, you layer from thinnest to thickest, so since a mist is so thin, it goes on as the first step after cleansing.

Another way to use it is at any time during the day. During cooler or dryer months, our skin needs all the TLC it can get, and a quick mist is exactly what the doctor ordered. I keep a face mist at my desk at all times.

Face Mists You Need To Try

Kopari Coconut Rose Toner: My ride or die. I’ve been using this toner for months and it just ticks all the boxes. First off, the smell is just incredible. It’s so luxe! It’s light but hydrating, and extremely nourishing. So let’s get into the nitty-gritty. First and foremost, Kopari is a clean brand. The mist in particular is great for treating redness and dryness. The lauric acid from coconut is antibacterial, which fights inflammation, while repairing and moistruzing the skin. The rose extract prevents blemishes and soothes irritation. And the witch hazel is an antioxidant which calms skin.

Dr. Dennis Gross C+ Collagen Mist: I don’t think I’ve ever done a skincare post without including a Dr. Dennis Gross product. This mist is another favourite of mine because it’s effective. It contains plant-derived collagen which are the building blocks of peptides and proteins. Another key ingredient is 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, which is a stabilized form of Vitamin C. It penetrates into the skin and reduces the look of fine lines and hyperpigmentation.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir: K so this is one of those products that’s like a staple for beauty editors. First thing to note is that it’s so refreshing, I feel like it immediately wakes me up. Caudalie is a clean brand, so it contains a beautiful mix of essential oils. The end result is a two in one mist which reduces the look of pores, rejuvenates the skin, and sets makeup.

Holistica Glow Crystal Mist: I mean, who doesn’t want crystals in their mist? This mist smells like a sumptuous bouquet of roses. It contains a combination of rose, geranium, and aloe vera to seriously soothe the skin and give it that glow.
