After a very memorable trip to New York, I’m back in Toronto. Although I’d gone in hopes of escaping the winter even by a few degrees, it was unbearably cold which just resulted in a lot of eating and shopping around SOHO. These pictures were taken on my last day when the weather decided to get a lot better (just my luck). There had been a major snow storm the day before so I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped out onto slush-free streets and weather warm enough for me to shed the looming concern of possibly losing a body part to frostbite. I was even able to make a trip up to the Top of the Rock and enjoy a breathtaking view of the New York skyline without fear of my arm freezing off.
