When I think of our predicament here in Toronto, this meme comes to mind immediately (LOTR fans, tell me you weren’t in stitches, I dare you). Just when we thought it was time to pack our coats away, Toronto hit us with another cold spell. On the bright side, it’s given me a chance to wear my over the knee boots again. I love a classic white shirt, but with black pants, it tends to remind me of the staff uniform from catering companies. That’s why I like to pair it with sleek over the knee boots and a camel coat. Sometimes, simple adjustments can totally change the feel of an outfit, which is what I love about staples like a well-tailored coat. That being said, I would much prefer to be in a lightweight trench and pastel dress. Spring, we’re ready, please stop playing hard to get.
