Today is my last day in Paris, and although it’s only the beginning of my time in Europe, the feeling is bittersweet. I love Paris so much that it’s difficult to say goodbye, and I can only hope that my experience in other cities are just as wonderful. I took these pictures yesterday at Place de la Concorde which boasts a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower. From these pictures, it looks like the Eiffel Tower lost its’ top because of all the fog! Although it basically rained the whole day, I was so glad that the weather warmed up so I could wear one of the many dresses I’d brought with me.
I spent yesterday wandering the streets, shopping, and even had the chance to meet the lovely Agnes from The Aggie Diaries! Turns out, Agnes is a fellow survivor of U of T who decided to spice things up by doing an exchange program in Paris instead of drowning her bell curve sorrows in tubs of ice-cream like the rest of us. We met up in the cutest little cafe, Lily of the Valley, where copious amounts of girl talk ensued while sipping tea and people watching. Overall, a perfect sendoff. Stay tuned for food posts, and a travel diary!
