As a permanent victim of wanderlust, returning back home can often feel a little monotonous. Just as I was getting adjusted to life back in Toronto, I got the surprise of my life: I found out my younger brother was coming to visit me! Anyone who is even mildly familiar with me knows that my family and I are attached to the hip, and my brothers are my best friends, so having one of them visit me was the best news I could have received.

Although I’ve always been extremely close to my brothers, the 5 and 6 year age gap between us was very apparent while we were growing up. I was always their older sister. But now, with them being 17 and 18, we’re pretty much on the same page and can enjoy the same things. I’m so excited to take my brother to all my favourite restaurants, go shopping, and just explore the city from a visitor’s perspective (which can be refreshing). I can’t imagine a better way to kick off the summer!
