Trends are an odd thing. One minute you’re sitting there confused while watching the 16th century pant style from hell return to the runways, and the next thing you know you’re looking at your bank account wondering how you managed to spend your rent money on the very trend you vowed never to try.
Culottes are one such trend. Confusing at first, but like denim on denim, it grows on you. This semi skirt, semi pant, which fits loosely enough to skip the gym without worrying about your summer bod (or lack of) has certainly found a place in my heart. It’s also versatile enough to take me from day to night which is always saves my room from looking like a post-apocalypic disaster a second time over.
I highly encourage you to take my hand and hop on the culottes bandwagon. I mean what could be better than the feeling of being pants-less all the time?
