If you don’t already know this about me, I should start this post by telling you I’m a huge Marvel fan. Well actually, I’m a big fan of anything sci-fi, but that’s not really relevant. The point is that I’m pretty sure I was a superhero/villain in another life, and in all my 23 years, all I’ve wanted is to wake up one morning and find out I have superpowers. Now I could of course just take the route that Batman and Ironman did and use technology to make myself a superhero, but let’s face it: I’m not that smart. So although I’ve come to accept my life as a mere mortal, it sure as hell doesn’t mean I can’t dress like a superhero. And nothing says superhero like a cape. It puts me in the same league as Magneto, Batman, Captain America, the list is endless. I mean, I could even be Thor in these colours. So I suppose this was my long-winded way of saying I like capes. And, in case my superhero polemic didn’t get you on board with this trend, just think, you could double it as next year’s Halloween costume. It’s a win-win!
