Today I’d like to revisit our discussion on how to prove you’re not a basic bitch this summer. Of course one can go the conventional route and just wear a dress in the scorching heat, but no, not I. I refuse to succumb to practicalities. Instead, I have chosen to layer my Little White Dress with a denim jacket, and have added moto boots just to make a statement. Clearly, coming from a tropical climate has made me immune to heat, or perhaps the heat has deluded me into believing layering is okay in the summer. Truth is, I’m only twirling to aerate myself. Oh, the things we do for fashion.
