Consider this your 101 in how to wear white mules without looking like a granny. To be completely honest, when these Zara sandals showed up at my doorstep, I had half a mind to return them, but then I remembered I’d ordered them 2 months prior during a crazed shopping spree while on an airplane. I was going to have to make them work. When paired with cutoff shorts I looked like a human mullet- party at the top, grandma at the bottom. So I scoured my wardrobe to find a combination that worked, finding solace in this recent buy from Oak + Fort. I’m happy to report that I’ve since worn these sandals several times, channeling granny exactly 0 times. Oh and on a side note, they are freakishly comfortable, so go grandma shoes.
