So last week, you’ll remember me mentioning the opening of Thompson’s new Lobby Bar. I was so bummed to not have made it to the opening on account of being sick, so instead, I checked it out this weekend during my staycation at the hotel. Although I’d never visited the Lobby Bar before its renovation, I was completely gobsmacked by the modern and colourful vibe of the space. I mean the navy couches? I’d be lying if I said the thought of stealing one for my living room never crossed my mind…
The Lobby Bar is also a lot more low-key than the Thompson’s rooftop bar, so it’s a great place to pre-drink or, if you’re super laid-back like I am, grab a few appetizers and hang with friends. In fact, it’s the perfect place to grab a snack, warm up; if you will, before hitting The Thompson Diner to pig out on Truffle Mac n Cheese. Jokes aside guys, if you’re looking for a cool new King Street spot to check out on the weekend, I highly suggest you give Lobby Bar a go.

I loved the colour combo!
I’m not the type of person who goes out so alot of disco type of bars, but this looks like one that me and my friends would absolutely love to go to. Because I feel like it allows us to do what we like the most, which is relax, drink, and just talk to each other. Atleast from the pictures.
