Teapigs

Teapigs

Today, I wanted to give you guys a chance to win an amazing prize pack that I’m hosting in collaboration with teapigs. So as I’m sure you know, I love tea, so when teapigs approached me to work on tea-infused recipes and a giveaway, I was stoked. I tried three of their teas – the Roobios Creme Caramel, Mao Feng Green Tea, and Superfruit tea, the latter of which I used to make a tea infused drink. Having just gotten back from Mexico, I wanted to include some of the fresh summer fruits I enjoyed so much during my stay there. Here is the recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 mug water
  • 1 teapigs Superfruit Tea bags
  • 2 sliced blood oranges
  • 4 strawberries

Method

Steep your teabag in a mug of hot water. Cool fully and place in fridge for about an hour. Add the strawberries and oranges to the chilled tea and refrigerate overnight. The idea is to make a healthy sangria, so the longer the fruits sit in the tea, the more intense the flavour. Enjoy!

Now onto the giveaway. Honest to God, when I opened this box, I wanted to keep everything for myself, which I unfortunately cannot because it’s for one of you. It includes:

  • 4 marble coasters
  • A gold cocktail shaker
  • 2 gold specked glasses
  • 1 marble wine cooler
  • New tea flavours from teapigs which aren’t available in store just yet (chocolate flake and popcorn have been mentioned)

If you’d like to win, show teapigs some love by liking their Facebook page, and leave a comment at the end of this blog post telling me your favourite drink (cocktail, mocktail, tea, juice, anything!) Check back here on the 7th of April as that’s when I’ll be announcing the winner – good luck!

I have been working on drinking more water but that gets so boring so I usually add a slice of cucumber or lemon & berries to it. I love tea but haven’t tried making my own iced tea. This looks super refreshing & I’d love to try this recipe! Thanks so much for the chance to win.

I’ve noticed that recently I keep drinking tea all the time. I’ll bookmark your recipe and make that drink in the summer. It sounds refreshing.
