You may recognize the jeans I’m wearing from probably a hundred previous outfit posts – they’re my absolute favourites. Unfortunately, distressed denim tends to unravel very easily, and considering I’ve had these for about 2 years now, you can imagine just how easily they’re ripping to shreds (quite literally). The other day, I was sitting around when I heard a terrible rip which could only mean one thing, a large portion of the fabric by the knee had come undone. However, I refuse to throw these in the trash until I find an exact replica, and I thought, why not just cut that entire portion off for an uber distressed look. I’m happy to announce that the accident actually turned out to be quite fortuitous as I actually like my jeans better now!
Love love love this outfit, Siffat! I am the exact same with my distressed jeans! I bought mine at Zara years ago and although they are definitely ready to be replaced I can’t find a pair that I love as much. The hunt continues!! Happy Friday, lovey!
