Lil’ Baci

Is there really any better way to ring in the weekend than with a hearty brunch? Today I bring you Lil’ Baci, a brunch spot in the most unsuspecting of places – Midtown! Now for a downtown girl, making trips uptown is extremely rare, but my friend Masha is a specialist on uptown spots, so upon her insistence, I made my way over on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon.

As soon as we seated ourselves on our marble table, I knew we were in an Instagrammer’s paradise. It was bright and airy, and I knew I was bound to get some great pictures. And then our food arrived…

Mushroom baked eggs for Masha.

And truffled eggs for me.

Scrambled eggs perched pretty on homemade bread, topped off with truffle oil. I temporarily lost my ability to speak on account of how good it was.

Although this post is short, I thought it was my responsibility as a blogger to inform you about it. I normally wouldn’t leave my downtown comfort zone, but for Lil’ Baci, it was well worth it. If any of you are looking for a great way to start the weekend, this spot is highly recommended.
