The Dark Spot Corrector That Actually Works

By now, you guys know that I’m obsessed with Dr. Dennis Gross. The man is a genius when it comes to skin, and every single one of his products are SO effective. I mean, have you guys tried his peel pads? Your skin literally glows. So when he came up with a new clinical grade dark spot correcting serum, I was like “Um yes please”.

I decided to try it for a month before telling you guys my thoughts. Before we get into the product review, let me give you a bit of background on my skin. I’m pretty obsessive when it comes to skincare, so I’m really serious about my skincare routine and diet. Thankfully, this has, for the most part paid off in the form of healthy skin. However, I have dark circles and, recently I had a random breakout which resulted in acne scars. I wanted to see if the IPL Dark Spot Correcting Serum would be successful in diminishing that bit of discoloration and make my skin more even-toned.

Here’s a breakdown of the key ingredients in the IPL Clinical-Grade Dark Spot Correcting Serum:

  • It contains 10% L-ascorbic acid (otherwise known as Vitamin C), which is a known skin brightener, dark spot corrector, and has incredible anti-oxidant properties
  • Kojic Acid, another key ingredient, is a chemical derived from mushrooms which is used to treat hyperpigmentation and acne scars
  • Lactic Acid (alpha-hydroxy acid, or AHA), is a powerful ingredient that’s used to reduce breakouts and diminish the look of wrinkles

So guys, after trying this product for a month, I can tell you that it’s one of my top-shelf beauty products. Like the ones that REALLY work. It’s brightened my skin significantly, and my acne scars have healed so much.

There are a lot of products on the market which promise to reduce hyperpigmentation. And while a lot of them work, they take time. But in my experience the IPL Dark Spot Corrector is one of the most effective – it works so quickly. I mean 4 weeks to see results is pretty unheard of.

So if you’re looking for something to do some major heavy lifting when it comes to hyperpigmentation, try this product, and let me know what you think.

Oh and while you’re at it, add these skincare faves to your cart too.
